Apixaban Beats Enoxaparin for Thromboprophylaxis After Hip Replacement

In the ADVANCE-3 trial 5,407 hip replacement patients were randomized to receive thromboprophylaxis with either the new oral factor Xa inhibitor apixaban or enoxaparin.
