Boehringer Ends Phase 2 Trial of Dabigatran in Mechanical Valve Patients

Boehringer Ingelheim today announced that it had discontinued a phase 2 trial of its anticoagulant drug dabigatran (Pradaxa) in patients with mechanical heart valves.
